Homecoming is the tradition of welcoming back former students and members and celebrating an organization's existence. It is a tradition in many high schools, colleges, and churches in the United States and Canada.

During the first week of the new semester, NAIAP held the traditional Homecoming Week including different themes and activities for each day.

Day 1: School Color Day

The theme of the first day was to promote a harmonious and loving campus. The students designed a flyer and a proposal with the school badge and the mascot. The four colors on the school badge are blue, yellow, red and green which represent students, parents, the school and the community respectively.

Day 2 – Cartoon Day

On the second day, students were dressed up as their favorite cartoon characters or heroes while doing movie dubbings. After that, they made clay figures according to the cartoon characters.

Day 3 – Art Day

This day’s activity is to make gourd paintings. It offers the students an opportunity to design unique patterns and paint them on gourds. Their creativity and aesthetic feeling were cultivated in the meantime.

Day 4 – Bakery Day

The students got a chance to be bakers in the school cafeteria. With the guidance of the chefs, they tried kneading, wrapping and decorating doughs. At noon, the desserts they made were distributed to other junior students.

Day 5 – Smile Day

The students turned into postmen and sent flowers to the designated teachers according to the cards that had been collected during the past four days. With the Teachers’ Day coming, it was a great opportunity to show the love to the teachers by saying “Happy Teachers’ Day” and a bunch of beautiful flowers. All the money raised would be donated to students of poor villages near the city.

After this wonderful and busy week, all the students and teachers in NAIAP will be dedicated whole-heartedly to their study and work in the new semester.
