The Chinese Calligraphy Week
During the week of April 17th-21st, a calligraphy exhibition was held on campus. The exhibition collected calligraphy works from the whole school, including all the teachers’ and students’ works. After screening, 17 calligraphy works from teachers, 180 hard-tipped pen calligraphical works from students, 50 calligraphy works from students and one seal cutting from students were exhibited finally. The contents varied from ancient and modern poems, famous quotations, and comments on traditional culture. They reflect the writers’ unique understanding of Chinese calligraphy and their love for teaching as teachers or thoughts about learning as students. This activity aims to cultivate the Chinese identity and broaden the horizon of each of our global citizens.
