On September 1^st, the opening ceremony of Gail Cup Basketball games was held in the field. Mr. Bai Fan presented and kicked off in the first game.

The games are aimed promote participation, health, harmony and progress. During the first game, each play of all the teams turned into professional athlete when they made shots, penalties and passes. In the meantime, all the audiences were like cheerleaders who shouted and cheered for their teams.

Gail used to be a foreign teacher in the school. She spent over 12 years and loved all her students. During the time she was here, she held thousands of basketball games like this. Gail retired and left for America last year. In memory of her, the school kept this tradition and named the games in Gail’s name.
