20th Anniversary of Luoyang No.2 Foreign Language School
On the banks of the Mississippi River in the United States,there is a beautiful town called La Crosse,a small city with a population of less than 50,000 people,and Luoyang is the sister city.It is also seen as the"second hometown"of some foreign language teachers at Luoyang No.2 Foreign Language School.Our school has sent more than 40 teachers to La Crosse to study and exchange.
As early as 1998,sponsored by the China Education Association for International Exchange of the Ministry of Education and the American Humanities Association,our principal Mr.Bai Fan and our English teacher Mr.Zhai Guanguan went to La Crosse as the first group of visiting scholars in Luoyang,and worked as full-time Chinese teachers in two local high schools for a year.
Ms.Xue Lian,Principal of Luoyang No.2 Foreign Language School,also had an exchange at La Crosse School District.The friendship between Luoyang No.2 Foreign Language School and La Crosse School District in the United States has lasted for a long time.
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Luoyang No.2 Foreign Language School,many friends who care about the school sent videos,including teachers who have been to Luoyang No.2 Foreign Language School to exchange,as well as partners and colleagues that the teachers from Luoyang No.2 Foreign Language School met in La Crosse.They showed their warm regards and good wishes to the 20th anniversary of our school,and we will release the videos of these friends one after another.
